The Banqueting House
Whitehall Palace was the principal residence of the sovereign, until it was largely destroyed by a fire in 1698. The magnificent Banqueting Hall is all that remains.

Battersea Park Children's Zoo

The Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms
Visitors can explore the actual rooms, hidden in a former government storage basement, where the senior members of the cabinet worked and slept during the Second World War. Also available to visit is an interactive museum of Winston Churchills life, which opened in 2005.
