Benburb Castle

A plantation bawn built in 1611. It is situated on a limestone cliff with dramatic views over the River Blackwater.

A large house built in the early seventeenth century by Sir Toby Caulfeild. It was badly damaged by fire during the Irish rebellion but later restored.
